Enid News & Eagle boosts multimedia componentsEnid News & Eagle has never been short on ideas to better connect its readers and the world around them. A recent Summer of '68 video package looked at a nation at war and a divided population - 40 years ago. Editor Cindy Allen's staff interviewed locals who recalled how those experiences shaped their lives. When our CNHI Mo Jo 2008 Summer Tour stopped in Enid, Okla., Rick Lepper worked with Cindy's staff to address questions lingering their earlier video adventures and to share additional tips and guidance. News & Eagle staffers Pam Gumaer and Violet Hassler are championing the project in their newsroom. The day's production: a slideshow capturing faces of the community's children doing what they do in summer and a video of Enid's heralded children's learning center Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse and Adventure Quest.
