Man fails to earn brownie pointsCNHI News Service GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Plans to make some sweets for his sweetie has left a bitter taste in the mouth of a 20-year-old Gloucester man. Brett Goodhue said he was only complying with his girlfriend’s wishes when he slipped through a window at her home so he could make her some brownies. The woman was in the hospital. Gloucester police responded to a call from a neighbor who noticed someone apparently breaking into the residence. Goodhue told police that he'd asked his girlfriend if there was anything she wanted when she got out of the hospital, and she told him that she wanted brownies. She also told him where he could find the mix and a pan, he said. Goodhue has no record and there was no restraining order in place at the time of his arrest. He was ordered to appear in court Jan. 20. --- |
